happy birfday, matty.
27 is wee. WEE i tell you. just think about how you’ll feel about being 27 when you’re 47.
(ok, so you don’t have a degree or a job at the moment. but it’s kind-of amazing that over 1000 people take the time to see if you have anything new to say on any given day, isn’t it?)

spike, definitely spike. or how about that principal guy in the last season? he was pretty foxy.

personally i prefer to hear a lower number from a man. a “sweet guy who held out until the right girl came along” is much more attractive. i think higher numbers only impress other men.

(funny, i just posted something about quitting)
you’re right, one of the hardest habits to break is the physical activity. and when you’ve smoked forever, the activity becomes as natural as eating. (imagine having to quit eating forever.)
things that helped me: water (take a sip every time you think about smoking), plain m&m’s (eat one by one), and exercise (lots of it).
good luck, matty!

yikes! i just saw this now, too. so sorry, matty!!
but do me a little favor, will you? spend a good part of your unemployed mornings half-asleep and happy in coffee shops drinking bottomless cups of coffee, occupying two chairs (one for your feet), reading books and/or the paper (maybe even doing the crossword), and smoking lots of cigarettes, ok? thanks!

from the amazing rabbit!
think she was campaigning for your most-sexiest-female-blogger-alive-although-you-can’t-confirm-sexiness-on-the-Internet contest. (or maybe it was the unless-of-course-you’re-talking-about-sexiness-that-goes-beyond-looks contest.) (or something like that.)
anyway, she didn’t win. but i don’t remember who did.

mattie–so happy you’re blogging again and already asking for comments! i love it when bloggers ask for comments. the other day, moxie asked for comments when she already gets an average of 30 for each entry. (she, too, said her number of comments was not proportionate to the visitors she gets. and apparently, she gets 10,000 per day. hmph.)
but i know how you feel. not getting comments feels like people are reading your blog with the expressionless stare of a disinterested shopper idly window shopping. i hate that.

and this is why i missed you, matty.

«« Back To Stats Pagesweet jesus. you were really “on” when you wrote this particular entry, weren’t you. you are truly blessed with the gift of the tongue (or in this case, the finger?), matt moore.
what is it about religion that gets everyone’s panties all wadded up? why do we try to prove it one way or another? why must we associate ourselves with one group of believers or another? why must we label ourselves? why won’t this girl stop asking silly questions and get to the f**king point?
ok. you didn’t ask. but here’s what i think. we need to feel important. we need to believe in something that explains away everything in our lives. yeah, things just couldn’t possibly be random. there’s got to be a higher purpose. a plan. because we need to believe that there’s more to life than “dust to dust.” we’ve got to be more than plants, right? we have souls, damnit. and that keeps us in line. because if nobody believed in god, then what would stop us from slashing and stealing our way through every commandment?
sorry. i’m rambling. (oh, you noticed?)
see what this topic does?
