This is awful

I did think about using my real name when I started getting seriously into blogging, as opposed to the half-assed personal webpages I had before, but I decided that I would rather not hide behind a pseudonym anymore. Let the chips fall where they may… (As it is, I am looking for a job myself, and I will carefully scrutinize their internet-use-on-the-job policy before revealing anything about any of my webpages — I probably won’t brag about my websites, certainly. I don’t plan on blogging about any job I get, though.)

Darn, I missed it. If it’s the “Jolene” I’m thinking of, it’s an old country song. Dolly Parton had a hit with it — maybe Emmy Lou Harris too, but I’m not sure.

“Ogling” is creepy? Day-um, I’ve got my hangups, but that’s not one of them. Now, whimpering, drooling, and pawing at the teevee screen or hotel room window every time a pretty body passes by, that’s creepy.

BTW, the actors I tend to “ogle” are mostly my age or older. Ew! Creepiness alert!

I was going to say — jeez, people, just how old do you think Stephen is? But he just told us. Here’s a scoop, you young ‘uns: forty-something is no longer old, at least, not in this part of the world.

Cripes, I just turned thirty-nine. Does that mean next year I can’t ogle cute actors on the teevee because that’s gross?
