McGregor, Jackson and Portman are all great in other movies, but completely lifeless in this one. Yet Christopher Lee is awesome. I think Lucas might just have trouble with <i>good</i> actors. Look at the first movie, none of those guys are gonna win Oscars. Harrison Ford is the best of the bunch, and he's pretty mediocre when you get right down to it. Course, they did have sets then, so I think Jim might be on to something. Lee is a good actor, but I think he's got an extensive B-movie background, so maybe he's used to crappy sets and terrible directors. I totally agree. Hell, even Samuel Jackson was boring! I think the lack of sets might not help either. Also, in the trailer that kid totally looks like Rick Springfield.
