My name in print!
Yippee! I’ve been quoted in the Rocky. All the quotes are correct, too. I’ve always read that anytime you see something you said in the media it’ll be wrong somehow.
Here’s the section that’s about TBOTCOTW:
Matt Moore has been blogging at Blog of the Century of the Week (www.tbotcotw.com) for more than a year.“I really enjoy writing, and reading blogs helps me stay connected to the world. I always read opinion pages (in newspapers) first, and blogs are ongoing opinion pages. I like blogging myself because I can get involved in that, throw something out and see what people think about it,” said Moore, 26, who’s an unemployed network support engineer.
“It started out mostly politics and current events, but it’s definitely moved away from that to more of my everyday life. The rest of it is entertainment, TV, movies, some books and general technology things.”
He averages about 1,000 hits a day, but the figure rises to six times that when he conducts his annual “Sexiest Female Blogger” contest.
“I hope people laugh occasionally and find some interesting things out there on the Web,” he said. “I wouldn’t mind if someone threw a bunch of money at me and paid me to do it, but that’s not going to happen. There are too many people out there doing it for free.”
I don’t think I come off sounding like too much of an idiot, but you can be the judge. Hopefully I don’t get a bunch of hatemail about the SFB.
Anyway, I stayed up late just to see the article, I’ll do a real roundup of it tomorrow. Tomorrow, while I’m drinking for the first time in a fortnight!

Blogging in the RMN
As Matt of TBOTCOTW hinted at here and mentioned here and here there is an article in Rocky Mountain News about blogging today. The article mentions several Denver area bloggers. For the most part I think the RMN reporter, Mark…
Matt, I think you sounded terrific. I think Mark Wolf did a really good job, it had some depth to it and I think he humanized all of us.
Jeralyn
Yea, Jeralyn, I agree that the article was very good, and I came across better than I thought I would.
Nice pic, btw. This is going in my scrapbook.
You did a great job. It’s nice to see local blogs make the newspaper.
