Yea, I know they lost, but they made a great game of it. Their defense is stopping teams, and their offense has the ability to move the ball quickly when the receivers aren’t dropping passes. Plus, they lost it on a field goal in overtime after losing the toss.
I just read that only 28% of overtime games have been won by the team that won the coin toss on their first possesion by a field goal. But that’s in history, and I’ll bet that that percentage has gone up a bunch in the last few years. The west coast offense doesn’t help that much with touchdowns (it’s too hard to move the ball with short passes in the red zone, what with the defense all bunched up), but it does make it easy to get in field goal range. Field goals are lame, touchdowns should win games.
We need something like the NCAA system, now.

No but really, to each his/her own sport. I remember one season when I and my friends were into football because the quarterback was really cute. John… um… ? I forget. He had big white teeth. Big huge team too. I just forget who it was. God, I sound like an airhead.
John Elway? He does have big, horsey teeth, which is appropriate since he played for my hometeam Broncos. Can’t believe you’d watch because you thought John Elway was cute.
