Atkins’ article

I’ve been meaning to post a link to this article from the NYT magazine. It’s all about Atkins’, and Nick Denton pointed it out as the reason for the sudden surge of bloggers on diets almost a year ago. It certainly is the reason I took the idea seriously.
Of course, it also took being forty pounds overweight and finding out my entire family was on it.

Matt, did i read that you are looking into the south beach diet now? How is that comming?
Nope, I’ve been very happen with Atkins’. I think South Beach is kinda Atkins’ lite, right? Allows brown rice and fruit, that sorta thing?
Anyway, I’ve lost twenty pounds rather quickly on Atkins’, and I love meat, so I’m sticking with it.
